DUAL SPECTRUM DSC PROBE CHIRP

The probe Dual Spectrum CHIRP (DSC) is built directly into the Minn Kota Ulterra2 motor. It uses multiple frequencies to better distinguish fish from the bottom and minimize interference that can disrupt echo readings. It also features a water temperature sensor.

• Target separation: helps distinguish between fish and differentiate them from the seabed.
• Fish Arcs: Displays clearer arcs to help you locate fish and track lures on the screen.
• Clearer image: reduces noise to make it easier to read the echoes.
• Wide beam (140 to 240 kHz): covers a wider area to locate fish and track lures.
• Narrow beam (180 to 240 kHz): Provides greater detail of the seabed and makes it easier to distinguish between targets.

ADVANCED GPS AND NAVIGATION FEATURES

The Minn Kota Ulterra2 112 lbs's enhanced GPS features several navigation modes, all accessible via the wireless remote control. You can choose the mode that best suits your route or the area where you want to fish:

• Drift: Maintains the boat's course and speed without a floating anchor.
• Tracking: follows the contours defined on Humminbird depending on the depth, the seabed, or the vegetation.
• Dodge: Allows you to temporarily resume manual control without losing your current route.
• Spot-Lock & Jog: Holds the boat at a GPS position and allows you to adjust that position.
• AutoPilot: Follows a route displayed on your screen.
• Back: Retraces a route you've already traveled, up to 3 km.
• Circle: Causes the boat to navigate in a circle around a specific point to survey the area.
• iTracks & Track Offsets: creates, saves, and tracks navigation routes.
• Routes: Creates routes connecting waypoints and Spot locations-Lock.

The Spot-Lock is particularly useful for staying at a fishing spot without having to constantly adjust the boat's position. When traveling, the engine can follow a saved track or a predefined route.

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL AND FOOT PEDAL

Lightweight and waterproof, the Minn Kota wireless remote control lets you access the advanced GPS features right from the boat.

It features a 2.1-inch color screen (non-touch), an intuitive menu, and a simplified keyboard. Thanks to the One-With Boat Network, you can customize four control buttons: three at the front and one on the side.

The Minn Kota wired foot control, equipped with a 6-meter cable, is compact and can be operated with either the heel or the toe.

It includes the essential controls: propeller on/off, speed and direction adjustment, and enabling or disabling Spot modes-Lock / Jog Log and AutoPilot.

LED indicators show which navigation modes are active (Spot-(Lock and AutoPilot) as well as speed.

The foot pedal also controls the automatic functions of the Minn Kota Ulterra motor:

• Power Trim: Adjusts the motor's trim depth (TRIM).
• Auto Stow & Deploy: automatically stows or deploys the engine.

WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY

The Minn Kota Ulterra2 is compatible with the One-Boat Network, which provides wireless communication with certain devices Humminbird and Minn Kota-compatible.

You can also control the motor from a smartphone that is compatible with the Minn Kota Fishing app. This allows you to adjust settings or control movement without having to go to the front of the boat.

• Draw & Navigate: Draw a path that the engine can then follow.
• Integration Humminbird : Use the navigation features with compatible devices.

In particular, this connectivity allows you to plan a route on your device Humminbird, and then let the engine follow the selected route. You can also navigate to a saved fishing spot without manually steering each move.

WHAT SHAFT LENGTH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE ?

The shaft length is determined by the distance between the bow of the boat and the waterline. If the shaft is too short, the propeller may partially come out of the water, especially when the boat is moving through waves.

• Measure the distance between the bow and the waterline.
• Add 30 cm to this measurement if you're fishing in rough water.
