ADVANCED GPS AND ON-WATER NAVIGATION

The Riptide Terrova2 55 lbs features an enhanced GPS with several navigation functions accessible via the wireless remote control. Depending on your route or fishing technique, you have the following modes available:

• Drift: Maintains course and speed without a floating anchor.
• Tracking: Follows contours defined on the Humminbird based on depth, the bottom, or vegetation.
• Evasive: Temporarily switches to manual steering without losing the current route.
• -Spot Lock & Jog: Holds the boat at a GPS waypoint and allows you to adjust its position.
• AutoPilot: Follows a route defined on your screen.
• Back: Retraces a previously traveled route, up to 3 km.
• Circle: Performs a search around a defined point.
• iTracks & Track Offsets: creates, saves, and tracks navigation tracks.
• Routes: creates routes connecting waypoints and Spot-Lock positions.

These functions can be used to stay at a fishing spot, follow a saved track, or head to another area. The system then manages navigation according to the selected mode.

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL

The Minn Kota Wireless GPS Advanced Remote with Spot-Lock provides remote control of the Terrova2 55 lbs GPS- Riptide. Lightweight and waterproof, it incorporates the functions of the Co-Pilot, i-Pilot, and i-Pilot Link remotes.

It features a 2.1" non-touch color screen, a navigation menu, and four customizable buttons—three on the front and one on the side. These buttons can be configured via the One-Boat Network system.

From the remote control, you can access Spot-Lock, AutoPilot, and other features of the enhanced GPS. It can also be used with compatible Minn Kota front or rear electric motors.

WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY

The Riptide Terrova2 is controlled wirelessly and works with the One-Boat Network ecosystem. This allows it to communicate with select compatible Humminbird, and Minn Kota devices.

The Minn Kota Fishing app also provides access to motor controls from a compatible smartphone. This is convenient for adjusting settings or managing your movements without having to go to the front of the boat.

• Draw & Navigate: Draw a route that the motor can then follow.
• Humminbird: Use navigation features with compatible devices.

This allows you to follow a pre-planned route, reach a fishing spot, or explore different areas while letting the motor handle the navigation.

WHAT SHAFT LENGTH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

To choose the shaft length, you must consider the distance between the bow of the boat and the waterline. If the shaft is too short, the propeller may partially come out of the water, especially in rough conditions.

• Measure the distance between the bow and the waterline.
• Add 30 cm to this measurement if you’re fishing in rough water.
