Description

Features & Benefits:

  • 220-ml cartridge
  • High impact resistance, ideal for structural bonding of metals, composites, and plastics
  • No primer required for most metals, including steel and aluminum; minimal surface preparation
  • Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, acids, and saline solutions; wide range of applications in harsh environments
  • Innovative acrylic elastomer; a structural adhesive with high filling capacity that is fast-curing and durable

Instructions:

Always use in a well-ventilated area. Mixed components generate heat; the intensity of the heat depends on the thickness of the adhesive bead.

  • Sand the surface to be bonded with medium-grit sandpaper, then clean with a cloth.
  • Clean with Soft Surface Cleaner
  • Place the cartridge flat.
  • Attach the appropriate nozzle and insert the cartridge into the gun.
  • Extrude the first 20 mm of Rapid Bond and check the dispensed product to ensure it has mixed properly in the nozzle.
  • Apply Rapid Bond to one surface only, and press the parts to be bonded together using only your fingers. It is not necessary to press hard.
  • Apply pressure if necessary to ensure a strong bond, and make sure the assembly remains stationary while the adhesive cures. Do not apply excessive pressure, as this could reduce the thickness of the adhesive.
  • Setting time: 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Excess fresh adhesive can be removed with a scraper; if it is partially dry, use a sharp tool; and once dry, sand or blast it off.
