Instructions:
Always use in a well-ventilated area. Mixed components generate heat, the intensity of which depends on the thickness of the adhesive bead.
- Sand the surface to be bonded with medium-grit paper, then wipe clean with a cloth.
- Clean with Soft Surface Cleaner
- Lay cartridge flat.
- Attach the appropriate nozzle and place the cartridge in the gun.
- Extrude the first 20 mm of Rapid Bond and check the output to ensure good mixing in the nozzle.
- Apply Rapid Bond to one surface only, and press the parts to be bonded together with your fingers only. It is not necessary to press hard.
- Press if necessary to obtain a good bond, and ensure that the assembly remains stationary while the adhesive dries. Do not apply too much pressure, as this may reduce the thickness of the adhesive.
- Setting time 5 to 7 minutes.
- Excess fresh adhesive can be removed with a squeegee, if partially dry with a sharp tool and once dry by sanding or sandblasting.
