The EchoMAP Plus 42cv CHIRP from Garmin is a hybrid GPS chartplotter - sounder with a 4" keyboard display. It incorporates an ultra-sensitive GPS antenna and a 500W sounder with the best technologies: 2D CHIRP and ClearVü CHIRP for excellent fish detection performance.

Shown here on its own, the EchoMAP Plus 42cv is also available in a pack with a transom or ClearVü through-hole transducer or a 2D through-hole transducer.

GARMIN - ECHOMAP PLUS 42CV CHIRP - THE POWER CHIRP

The EchoMAP Plus 42cv CHIRP from Garmin is a GPS chartplotter with keyboard display. It features different sounder technologies depending on the probe selected: 2D Traditional CHIRP / ClearVü mode CHIRP. It's the smallest screen in the range, with a vertical format; its big brother is the ECHOMAP UHD 62cv + GT24 sounder.

The integrated 5Hz GPS/GLONASS antenna offers a refresh rate 5 times faster than that of other antennas on the market (1Hz). Heading and position data are updated up to 5 times per second, enabling more accurate reproduction of the boat's position and storage of up to 5,000 waypoints with the utmost precision - even at low speed. Sounder data and GPS position history are stored simultaneously. In this way, you can create a waypoint at any time via the sounder recordings.


	TRADITIONAL 2D FISHFINDER CHIRP Echomap Plus 42cv features the traditional sounder CHIRP: one of the most innovative technologies on the market. This allows ideal detection at depths of up to 240m (manufacturer's data) thanks to its high-frequency CHIRP coverage on a wider beam than usual . CLEARVÜ TECHNOLOGY ClearVü technology is the most powerful on the market. It provides clear, high-quality, almost-photographic images of everything going on beneath the water's surface. Highly accurate, you'll be able to see structures, fish and submerged objects. See thermoclines: the boundary between water layers and oxygen-rich zones. Identify fish: no room for interpretation, it identifies clearly. Reveal structures: wrecks, vegetation, bridge pillars, dead bodies-... Not available on version with 2D probe

	QUICKDRAW CONTOURS FUNCTION Quickdraw Contours software creates HD fishing maps in real time. It's now possible to create your own maps without any special knowledge. WithEchomap Plus 42cv, you can store the equivalent of 8,000 km² of Quickdraw Contours maps, with bathymetric curves displayed every 30 cm.

SAILASSIST FUNCTION SailAssist allows you to sail with greater peace of mind, thanks to the sail line and tacking aid. The tacking aid indicates the best moment to tack. The function features a virtual starting line indicator and a programmable countdown timer. Evaluate your journey time.
