L'Echomap Ultra 2 102sv doesn't reinvent the wheel, but features all the latest sounder technologies Garmin for the most powerful Echomap Ultra :

• Visit Chirp for ideal detection down to 240m and displays denser information sharper images in HD with a very good target separation and precise bottom tracking even at high speeds.
• Visit ClearVü provides clear images, of almost photographic quality of everything that happens under the boat. You'll be able to see structures, fish and submerged objects, view thermoclines, identify fish, reveal wrecks, vegetation and more.
• Visit SideVü offers a detailed, precise vision on both sides of the boat, facilitating prospecting and the rapid detection of structures and fish thanks to its 180° scanning field, for rapid identification of fishing areas.

ECHOMAP ULTRA 2: WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY

Visit Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 2 enables wifi connection of a smartphone to use the Active Captain application on iOS and Android in order to download bathymetric charts or perform updates.

Integrated wifi allows connection of 2 probes Echomap Ultra 2 (and Echomap UHD 2) with each other to share the sounder view, waypoints and routes.

With this system, you can, for example, have your 1st sounder cabled to your stern transducer, while a second sounder located forward receives the sounder view of the 1st wireless via wifi allowing you to fish from all sides of the boat with one eye always on one of the screens.

The wifi feature allows :

• Transmission of waypoints, routes and sounder display points of interest and itineraries saved on one device can be transmitted wirelessly to the other screen, and the sounder view can be displayed on any Echomap Ultra 2 or UHD 2, wifi-connected.
• Common visualization: both echo sounders simultaneously display the same data, e.g. sounder, waypoints, routes, for a common readout of information.
• Increased productivity: with no need to go from one device to another to display and control information, fishermen remain productive wherever they are on the boat.

The optional LiveScope sounder cannot be shared wirelessly.

THE HELM FUNCTION ON ECHOMAP ULTRA 2

The function HELM is available on Echomap Ultra 2. As with GPSMap, the Helm function adds the ability to wifi connection to a smartphone or tablet compatible via the Active Captain.

The possibilities are endless. With HELM, you can:

• View and control your devices from the Active Captain app: no need to be at the helm, you can remotely modify a setting, check the route or see if the area is suitable for fishing, all from your smartphone or tablet.
• Save your screen : Share-then share it in MP4 format with your community or friends.
• Take screenshots or Screenshot (image): Record the highlights of your day, and share your captures on social networks.

QUICKDRAW CONTOURS FUNCTION

The software Quickdraw Contours create your hD fishing cards in real time. It's now possible to create your own maps without any special knowledge.

With theEchomap Ultra 2 102sv, you can store the equivalent of 8000 km² of maps Quickdraw Contours with bathymetric curves displayed every 30 cm.

Download maps or share your own by connecting to WI-FI to the free ActiveCaptain app. Receive on-screen notifications of new updates to your echo sounder via the app.
