Hello, I have a Livescope LVS34 probe connected to my Echomap Ultra fishfinder. I'd like to know if the Livescope probe only lights up when I select the Livescope mode on my sounder, or if it's on by default even when I'm not using the Livescope mode? Thanks
Hello, this is how it works:
When the Livescope LVS34 probe is connected to your Echomap Ultra 2 sounder and the GLS10 (the Livescope box) is powered, then the Livescope LVS34 probe will be in default operation when you turn on the sounder screen, even if you are not using the Livescope mode on your sounder. If you disable probe transmission, the next time you switch on the sounder, the probe will remain disabled.
To deactivate probe transmission Livescope LVS34, you have 2 options:
- Press your sounder's power button once to access the quick menu, then deactivate all probe transmissions.
- Go to the Livescope mode menu on your sounder and deactivate probe transmission.
Be careful not to leave the Livescope LVS34 probe powered and transmitting out of the water, as this could damage it.
