TRADITIONAL 2D SONAR CHIRP

The Minn Kota X9 is equipped with a fish finder CHIRP 1,000-watt single-channel sonar. It improves seabed visibility and fish identification thanks to:

• More detailed, high-resolution images
• Better separation of targets, with clearer fish arcs
• Improved seafloor monitoring and fish detection

It works with the sensors CHIRP single-channel, low-, medium-, or high-frequency.

Available frequencies:

• Narrow Beam 180-240 kHz at 25°
• Wide beam 140-200 kHz at 42°

MEGA DOWN IMAGING+

The MEGA Down Imaging+ doubles the operating depth of the MEGA Down Imaging. This allows you to explore at depths that were previously inaccessible using these very high frequencies.

This technology provides a detailed image of the seafloor, even when you're exploring deeper areas.

MEGA SIDE IMAGING+

With MEGA Side Imaging+, you can scan up to 60 m on each side of the boat, for a total coverage of 120 m.

The MSI+ zoom offers up to 6x magnification without any loss of detail, thanks to signal processing.

When you zoom in, the camera recalculates the image for the selected area instead of simply enlarging the pixels. This allows you to maintain a detailed view of the area you want to examine.

AUTOCHART LIVE

AutoChart Live lets you create your own depth charts of the bodies of water you're exploring, for your personal use. The chart appears on the fishfinder and updates automatically as you navigate.

The software is already installed and has an 8-hour recording capacity. It can map the seabed topography, changes in vegetation, and seabed hardness. This allows you to review the characteristics of the areas you’ve explored during your fishing trips.

To increase the memory capacity of AutoChart Live, the AutoChart map is necessary.

GPS & MAPS

The Minn Kota X9 features a built-in 10 Hz GPS antenna to accurately track your position while navigating and help you find your favorite fishing spots.

Waypoint and route management has been redesigned to make them easier to use. With a capacity of up to 10,000 waypoints and routes, you can save your locations, organize them, search for them, or import and export them.

The X9 is compatible with cards Navionics+, , Platinium+, , CoastMaster and LakeMaster.

Please note that the navigation map is not included with the device.

CONNECTIVITY AND NETWORKING

The Minn Kota X9 has an Ethernet port for connecting it to other compatible devices on your boat.

It also supports NMEA2000, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connections-Fi, which allows you to connect it to various devices in your system.

Depending on the equipment on board, you can, for example, connect it to a radar CHIRP, an AutoPilot system, a VHF radio, or a Audio equipment Fusion compatible.
