TRUECHO CHIRP TECHNOLOGYTruEcho CHIRP is a cutting-edge technology that enhances echo discrimination by simultaneously analyzing targets with variable frequencies. Thanks to this technology, the sounder can detect, for example, fish of less than 15 cm at a depth of 90 meters. CHIRP technology on the DFF1UHD uses a precise configuration. It features a multi-frequency sweep for long pulse duration, transmitted from a Broadband probe. |
BACKGROUND DISCRIMINATIONThe DFF1-UHD determines the nature of the seabed with its Bottom Discrimination function. The seabed is made up of diverse elements that are often impossible to see. Bottom Discrimination technology offers the possibility, in addition to conventional sounder functions, of analyzing and illustrating the nature of the bottom: mud, sand, gravel or rock, in depths from 5 to 200m. |
