REACTIVE LIGHTING LUMINOSITY SENSORThanks to REACTIVE LIGHTING technology, a sensor analyzes ambient light and automatically adjusts the brightness to the user’s needs. With REACTIVE LIGHTING, when the sensor detects a sufficiently lit area, your headlamp flashes dimly for two minutes, then automatically turns off to conserve battery life. The lamp’s battery life in REACTIVE LIGHTING mode varies depending on usage ; for high-speed activities, we recommend using the lamp in Standard Lighting mode , as there is a risk of it turning off automatically in Reactive Lighting mode |
3 modes and 4 brightness levelsPetzl ’s Swift RL Pro headlamp features three lighting modes (REACTIVE LIGHTING, STANDARD LIGHTING, and RED LIGHTING) and four brightness levels for the REACTIVE LIGHTING and STANDARD LIGHTING modes, allowing for precise adjustment of the lighting to suit needs for close-up, on-the-move, and long-distance vision. When you turn on the light, it starts in the last mode used and maintains the same brightness level when switching between Reactive Lighting and Standard Lighting modes.

BATTERY AND RUNTIMEThe Petzl SWIFT RL PRO headlamp is equipped with a rechargeable battery that offers excellent runtime (see the table bel-). The battery is a lithium---ion battery with a capacity of 2350 mAh, allowing for extended use of the headlamp. To recharge the battery, simply use the micro-USB Type-B port. The battery is fully charged in 5 hours. A charging indicator light is built into the headlamp, making it easy to monitor the battery’s charge level and know when it is fully charged. This prevents the surprise of a dead battery while using the headlamp. In addition, the headlamp begins to flash five minutes before switching to reserve mode, indicating that approximately 2 hours of light remain. In reserve mode, the light output is reduced—sufficient for walking but not suitable for intense, dynamic activities. LOCK mode prevents the headlamp from turning on accidentally during handling or storage. |
