The Quick Balder BL2 FF (free fall) bow windlass can be installed in the anchor locker , on a bulkhead, offering great flexibility for a wide range of combinations. Available in 3 power ratings (600, 900 and 1200 W), it will easily find its place on a 5 to 10 m boat.

BALDER BL2 FF: A WINDLASS FOR BOW BULKHEADS

This windlass features a free-fall system for rapid lowering of the mooring line.

It features a mixed sprocket , which can accommodate a mixed chain/rope mooring line, as well as an integrated chain counter sensor .

Its construction is robust: AISI 316 stainless steel and chrome-plated bronze will protect it perfectly from wet conditions.

To help you choose the power best suited to your vessel, here are a few recommendations from the manufacturer :

For a 5 to 8 m boat: 600 W
For a 5 to 9 m boat: 900 W
For a 7-10 m boat: 1200 W
