TRANSOM MOUNTINGWatt&Sea Racing hydrogenerators are usually mounted directly on the transom of sailboats using the supplied mounting kit. They are raised and lowered in the same way as a dinghy rudder. As the charging power is very high, this allows the unit to be raised when the batteries are fully charged. Maneuvering is facilitated by the top-of-the-range fittings supplied: an Antal low-friction ring multiplies the effort, and a Harken cleat holds the unit in position. |
CONVERTERThe converter is equipped with a Bluetooth chip enabling you to read out charge data, various technical information and, if necessary, adjust voltages directly on your smartphone.

VARIABLE-PITCH PROPELLERThe automatic variable-pitch propeller allows operation over a wide speed range from 5 to 30 knots with minimum drag. The blades are fully feathered just before launching, at the flick of a switch on the pump. Drag and effort are greatly reduced, making the immersion phase easier, even at high speeds. |
