It integrates easily into a lifejacket and activates automatically as soon as the latter is inflated. Designed to guarantee rapid intervention in the event of a fall overboard, it combines AIS technology, 121.5 MHz frequency and DSC system for immediate alert and ultra-precise location-.

Compliant with the AIS class M standard, the M200 functions as a DSC MOB (Man Overboard) transmitter. It features a compact, rugged design, offering a small footprint while maintaining optimum efficiency, even in extreme conditions.


	M200 beacon: safety at sea As soon as it is activated, either automatically by inflating the lifejacket or manually, the beacon emits a distress radio signal on 121.5 MHz, frequently used for short-range tracking operations. In less than 15 seconds, an initial distress message is broadcast, ensuring rapid assistance. Thanks to its AIS (Automatic Identification System) connectivity, the M200 can send up to 8 AIS messages per minute. Once the GNSS (maritime GPS) position has been detected, each message includes your precise GPS coordinates, enabling immediate localization by nearby vessels and rescue services. The beacon also incorporates DSC (Digital Selective Calling) technology. It can transmit different types of distress message - individual, group or general - depending on local maritime regulations. This feature enhances compatibility with marine VHF systems and optimizes alert broadcasting. Equipped with two ultra-bright-infrared strobe lights, the M200 beacon enhances visibility at night or in difficult sea conditions, further improving the chances of location.

When the vest is triggered, the beacon automatically activates and deploys its antenna, ensuring instant activation without manual intervention. Compatible with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, the M200 enables rapid connection with a smartphone. As you approach your phone, the Ocean Signal app (iOS or Android) automatically opens, providing access to key data: battery status, self-test history, and customized programming such as recording the vessel's MMSI number.
