Satellite transmission and guidanceOnce activated, the Tron SA20 sends a distress message on 406 MHz with your position, then transmits a guidance signal on 121.5 MHz to help search teams get closer to you.
Positioning is updated regularly, and the beacon is designed to maximize range with an extended antenna and a clear view of the sky. |
Return Link functionReturn Link Service (RLS) adds valuable feedback. It lets you know that your distress message has been received and routed to the SAR authorities, thanks to the Galileo system.
This confirmation helps to reassure you, especially when the situation is tense and every minute counts. |
