CALYPSO - ULP Ultrasonic 2000 wired ultrasonic wind vane

The shape and firmware of the anemometer wind vane have been improved for better performance in rain, which is essential for static applications such as weather stations. The design has also been revised to make the device more robust and reliable.

The wind vane connects via NMEA2000 to your on-board devices.


	SMALL BUT EFFICIENT This unit requires less than 0.4 mA of power at 5V, samples at 1Hz and has an RS485 output. The wired ultrasonic wind vane can be installed on your dinghy, sailboat, motorboat or as a fixed station. Once connected to your smartphone, tablet or navigation system, it will provide all the important information on wind speed and direction.

NUMEROUS MOUNTING ACCESSORIES The ULP 2000 wired ultrasonic wind vane has a 6.35mm (1/4") female thread, perfect for mounting on any tripod or pole. Mounting accessories, sold separately , allow you to attach the wind vane anywhere you like (top of a mast, car roof,-above a boat cabin, etc.) The Ultrasonic ULP is particularly well-suited to extreme sports : kitesurfing, kayaking, windsurfing, paragliding, as well as golf, shooting, drone piloting and even firefighting. All activities requiring fast, accurate and simple wind data .
