CANBUSAs the RD33 is an NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 compatible device, you can use it to link the two data formats and transmit the information you require, in the format of your choice. The RD33 communicates over an NMEA0183 or NMEA200-compatible CANbus network. CANbus is a communication protocol that shares multiple data and signals via a single cable. You can simply connect any CANbus device to the basic network cable to extend your on-board network. With CANbus, identifiers are assigned to all devices, and the status of each sensor on the network can be detected. All CANbus devices can be integrated into the NMEA2000 network. |
