The gWind from Garmin is a wind vane that detects and defines wind direction, and uses an anemometer to record speed. All these measurements will enable you to improve your boat's potential by adjusting your sail and taking advantage of the wind's strength.

Equipped witha double fin and a 3-blade propeller, it delivers excellent performance in all wind conditions. The double gybing system ensures great stability upwind, while the 3-blade anemometer ensures greater accuracy even in light winds. Speed information is read optically, providing extreme precision and excellent linearity.

The gWind instrument comes with a GND 10 module that enables all windvane information to be shared with all NMEA 2000 devices connected to the network. Thanks to GND 10, you can link a plotter Garmin with Nexus instruments.
