GARMIN - GWIND WIRELESS 2 - RELIABLE AND PRECISE

The gWind Wireless 2 windvane from Garmin detects and defines wind direction, and uses an anemometer to record wind speed. All these measurements will enable you to improve your boat's potential by adjusting your sail and taking advantage of the wind's strength. When combined with other sensors Garmin, gWind Wireless 2 provides the crew with apparent wind or VMG.

Equipped with a double fin and 3-blade propeller, it delivers excellent performance in all wind conditions. The double gybing system ensures high wind stability, while the 3-blade propeller anemometer ensures greater accuracy even in light winds. Speed information is read optically, providing extreme precision and excellent linearity.

The gWind Wireless 2 wind vane requires no cables, making it ideal for installations on masts up to 15 meters high. It can be connected directly to a GNX Wind display or compatible GPSMAP chartplotter to view reliable, accurate wind data via the ANT wireless connection. Unlike the first generation, the GND10 box is therefore no longer required with this new wind vane.
