GARMIN- GWIND RACE - FOR REGATTA SAILBOATS
The gWind Race windvane is designed for all regatta sailboats. It comes with a 1-meter-high carbon fiber mast to raise the windvane above the boat's mast and avoid turbulence caused by airflow over the sail.
Equipped with a double fin and a 3-flat propeller, it delivers excellent performance in all wind conditions. The double gybing system ensures great stability upwind, while the 3-blade propeller anemometer ensures greater precision even in light winds. Speed information is read optically, providing extreme precision and excellent linearity.
Everything is connected with the lightest Garmin cable in its class. What's more, the instrument comes with a GND10 module that enables all windvane information to be shared with all NMEA 2000 devices connected to the network. Thanks to GND10, you can link a Garmin plotter with Nexus instruments.
