NASA's innovative electromagnetic loch-speedo sensor provides highly accurate speed and distance measurements. The main advantage of this sensor is that it has no moving parts, making maintenance problems with paddlewheels, which can jam, break or become clogged, a thing of the past.

ELECTROMAGNETIC LOCH SPEEDO

The NASA electromagnetic loch sensor gives you precise information on speed , distance traveled and other travel data. Speed is calculated by an alternating magnetic field .

The sensor is robust and precise. It generates an alternating magnetic field under the boat and measures the electric field produced by the boat's speed. The electronic box converts the sensor signal and sends the data to your display (not supplied).
