The masthead element for the windvane from Raymarine is a peripheral device that collects all wind information and transmits it to the repeater. You'll find all the wind information you need, such as apparent wind speed and direction, true wind speed and direction, and maximum wind speed. Supplied with 20m cable.
The system calculates corrected wind speed (VMG) when it receives wind speed data from a SeaTalk-compatible Loch Speedo. When used as a master instrument, the windvane anemometer can be fitted with alarms for maximum/minimum true wind speed and minimum and maximum apparent wind angles.
