Perfectly waterproof up to 10 m and protected from fogging between -40°C and +80°C, they owe their legendary robustness to their Makrolon polycarbonate housing, which withstands shocks of up to 11G.

The prisms are mounted on shock-absorbing silicone suspensions.

What's more, the binoculars have been given a hydrophobic treatment that lets water droplets, dirt and dust slide off.
