The Lewmar NTR T1 traveler is designed for smoother large-sail trimming, with better guided ends and a cleaner circuit. It combines Torlon balls, a shackle, 4 control sheaves and a cleat, to keep a firm grip on the sheet and control lines, even under load. Its T1 size fits in with standard rigs and remains consistent for both cruising and racing.
The 4 control sheaves help avoid crossing and unnecessary friction, for smoother trimming. The cleat allows you to quickly secure a recovery, which is practical for maneuvering or when you're frequently trimming. With wider sheaves, you also gain in efficiency on the passage of ends.
