The ForwardScan® cross-track probe from Simrad is designed to be installed at the bow of the boat to navigate with confidence and avoid running aground in shallow or poorly charted water. Simrad Combined with an NSS Evo-2 / Evo-3 and Evo-3S multifunction display on the Ethernet socket, this probe will give you a clear, two-dimensional picture of the bottom ahead of your boat.

The display is based on the course line, represented by colored segments: Green: Deep/safe water Yellow: Medium depth Red: shallow water / danger The display is automatically synchronized with the bowline length on the ForwardScan/navigation split screen.

	EASY TO INSTALL AND USE Designed for boats of all sizes, the transducer can be installed on almost any vessel with a pass-through mount-hull. The transducer operates at 180Hz to minimize interference from other 200Hz probes, enabling it to be used with existing fish/depth finder probes. The ForwardSan probe is supplied alone with a 6-meter cable.
