ForwardScan® forward-looking sensor technology displays a clear image of the water column and seabed in front of your boat, alerting you to potential hazards so you can navigate safely in unknown waters.

A CLEAR, COMPREHENSIBLE 2D VIEW

Color tracking and bottom marking provide a 2D rendering of the seabed in front of your boat, with an immediate, easy-to-understand display. The display is based on the course line, represented by colored segments:

• Green: Deep/safe water
• Yellow: Medium depth
• Red: Shallow water / danger

The display is automatically synchronized with the bowline length on the ForwardScan/navigation split screen.

EASY TO INSTALL AND USE

Designed for boats of all sizes, the transducer can be installed on almost any vessel with a through-hull mount.

The transducer operates at 180Hz to minimize interference from other 200Hz probes, enabling it to be used with existing fish/depth finder probes.

The ForwardSan® probe is supplied as a stand-alone unit or in a kit which includes a stainless steel through-hull fitting* and a hull shoe designed for hulls up to 25.4mm thick and with a slope of up to 20°.

An integrated self-closing check valve* prevents water ingress during ForwardScan® maintenance, and can be removed from the through-hull when the boat is in the water.
