The Alpha 24V/110A Mastervolt alternator provides full charging power for your starter battery , even at low engine speeds , thanks to your boat's engine , unlike standard alternators .
It's compatible with all types of battery , insulated to protect it from overvoltage , short circuits or interference . What's more, it comes with a range of mounting brackets , so it can be customized to meet customer requirements.

MASTERVOLT - ALPHA 24V/110A ALTERNATOR WITHOUT CHARGE CONTROLLER
The alternator installed on the main engine is used to fully charge the starter battery . So it's not the best for charging other batteries quickly and well , especially if you want to charge them in a short time or when they require more power .
There are two solutions to this problem:
- Install a charge regulator on the standard alternator . This will make the existing alternator work with 3-step charging technology instead of its standard 1-step method: the batteries will be charged faster and better .
- Take a second Alpha power alternator with charge controller . This combination is specially designed for charging service batteries , so you can charge quickly and stop your engine when you arrive.
The alternator features forced cooling through the action of the pulley fan , offering more power even at high temperatures .
The Alpha 24V/110 A alternator is available in two versions to best suit your needs :
