The Alpha 24V/75A Mastervolt alternator provides full charging power for your starter battery , even at low engine speeds , thanks to your boat's engine , unlike standard alternators .
It is compatible with all types of battery , insulated to protect it from overvoltage , short-circuits or interference .
The alternator comes with a Alpha Pro III charge regulator for greater efficiency and longer-lasting batteries, and includes a multi-groove pulley.

MASTERVOLT- ALPHA 24V/75A ALTERNATOR WITH MULTI-GROOVE PULLEY
The alternator installed on the main engine is used to fully charge the starter battery . So, it's not the best for charging other batteries quickly and well , especially if you want to charge them in a short time or when they require more power .
There are two solutions to this problem:
- Install a charge regulator on the standard alternator . This will make the existing alternator work with 3-step charging technology instead of its standard 1-step method: the batteries will be charged faster and better .
- Take a second Alpha power alternator with charge regulator . This combination is specially designed for charging service batteries , so you can charge fast and stop your engine when you arrive.
The alternator features forced cooling through the action of the pulley fan , offering more power even at high temperatures . What's more, it features a variety of mountings to suit customers ' customized brackets .
