The Petzl CORAX is the essential harness for any sailboat owner or rigger who needs to work at height. Unlike conventional mast chairs, which can be cumbersome, the CORAX offers total freedom of movement and increased safety when climbing the mast. Its sturdy design and wide comfort zones make it ideal for checking standing rigging or servicing masthead electronics.

COMFORT DURING LONG OPERATIONSWorking at the masthead often requires you to remain suspended for dozens of minutes. Thanks to FRAME Technology, the CORAX distributes the load evenly between the waistband and the thighs. This architecture limits compression points and promotes blood circulation, a crucial factor when working statically at height. The waistband and thighs are generously padded and lined with breathable fabric. This ensures superior comfort even during intense efforts to pull yourself up the mast, while guaranteeing excellent durability against rubbing against shrouds or mast aluminum. |

ADAPTABILITY TO WATCH CLOTHINGOne of CORAX's greatest assets for sailors is its adjustability. Equipped with two DOUBLEBACK buckles on the waistband, it allows the tie-in point (trigger guard) to be perfectly centered. This means the harness fits with the same precision over shorts in summer as it does over dungarees and heavy watch jackets in winter. The thigh straps are also fully adjustable. This means you can put on the harness without removing your sea boots, a major advantage when conditions on deck are wet or unstable and intervention needs to be quick. |

YOUR TOOLS AT HANDDropping a shackle or pliers at the masthead can be catastrophic. The CORAX has four spacious -equipment holders to secure all your mast equipment. The two rigid loops at the front provide easy access to your main tools (wrenches, pliers, tape), while the soft loops at the rear don't get in the way if you're wearing a lifejacket via-. An accessory ring on the rear allows you to attach a tool bag or secondary lifeline. For heavier work, it's compatible with the-CARITOOL tool holder, allowing you to methodically organize your spare parts before you start climbing. |
