The SH8050-1P mechanical steering gear is a device for controlling boat steering from the steering wheel. The steering box is mounted on the steering wheel and transmits the movement to the rudder or motor.
It is used on outboard-type boats with motors of up to 55 HP. Thanks to this box, port-to-starboard steering is achieved in 2.6 turns of the steering wheel.
