Comptoir Nautique offers you acompleteSleipner Side-Power SE80 electric bow thruster pack , ready for installation on your motorboat. It is designed for powerboats from 10 to 15m* with a thrust power of 80-96 kg and a diameter of 185 mm.

The pack comprises an electric thruster, a tunnel, a joystick control panel, a control cable, a circuit breaker, a fuse holder, a fuse and a battery. Detailed pack composition below.

SIDE-POWER - SE80 ELECTRIC BOW THRUSTER COMPLETE PACK - FOR POWERBOATS

With the aim of making it easier for you to choose an electric bow thruster for your motorboat, Comptoir Nautique offers you a complete pack so that you have everything you need to install it on your boat.

The pack includes a Sleipner SE80 Ø185 mm 12V electric bow thruster with 80-96 kg thrust and accessories.


	What is a bow thruster? A bow thruster enhances the boating experience by making maneuvering easier. Docking your boat or leaving the dock becomes much simpler. For maximum efficiency, the bow thruster's propeller needs to be installed as far forward as possible (to get the best leverage), while keeping it sufficiently submerged to maximize propulsion and avoid churning the air. This is where the difficulty lies, because on both powerboats and sailboats, the forward part of the hull is often only slightly immersed in the water. The positioning of a thruster is therefore an essential feature. Whatever the choice of thruster, installation requires intervention on the boat's structure. An error in positioning can have serious consequences. If you're planning to do it yourself, contact a specialist for advice.
