Navigation Data via Wi---Fi

The WGX-1 ISO transmits NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data via Wi---Fi. You can view this data on a tablet, smartphone, or computer using a compatible navigation app.

NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 conversion

The WGX-1 ISO converts NMEA 0183 data to NMEA 2000, and vice versa. It can connect older equipment—such as a GPS, wind vane, depth sounder, or AIS —to a modern network.

• Bidirectional conversion between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000

• ISO baud rate from 4,800 to 230,400 baud

This allows you to use equipment from different generations together without having to replace the entire system.

Network diagnostics and data monitoring

The WGX-1 ISO includes Actisense- i to monitor the NMEA 2000 network. The tool measures bus voltage, displays connected devices, and provides an overview of the electronic system’s activity.
