NMEA 0183 - USB adapter

This NMEA USB adapter cable works on PC, Mac and Linux computers and converts the NMEA 0183 data used by many navigation systems to USB.

With this NMEA0183 USB adapter cable, NMEA0183 data is easily transferred to your computer. They can then be used and displayed in suitable navigation software. You can also send data from the computer to an instrument in NMEA0183 format (bidirectional communication).

The data rate can be configured: 4800, 9600, 38400, 115200 baud. This means that NMEA0183 AIS data, usually transmitted at 38,400 baud, can be processed by this adapter. For example, if you wish to transmit NMEA0183 GPS data, the correct setting is 4800 baud.

The built-in LED indicators flash when NMEA0183 data is being transmitted or received.
