The NMEA2000 network is now the standard network installed on many boats to enable connection between instruments. The NMEA2000 standard uses a simple columnar (or trunk) structure with terminators at each end of the network, and all devices can be linked using standardized connectors. Waterproof connectors are used for maximum reliability and ease of installation.

Digital Yacht has introduced a cost-effective NMEA2000 cabling kit enabling you to connect up to 3 instruments, such as AIS, plotter and autopilot. The kit includes the power cable and high-quality nickel-plated metal connectors, far superior to basic plastic connectors. The network consists of 6 unique extensions with terminators at each end of the network.
Standard "Micro C" connectors facilitate future expansion of the network. Metal connectors and reduced T-connections improve reliability.
