The MiniPlex-3PRO is an advanced multiplexer that combines NMEA0183 data from several sources into a single stream. Its gateway function ensures conversion between NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 in both directions.
It also features four NMEA0183 outputs and an Ethernet port. NMEA0183 data received can be routed individually to each of these outputs.
The Ethernet port is bidirectional, so it can transmit NMEA0183 data over an Ethernet network, and at the same time receive NMEA0183 data to be routed to one or all 4 NMEA0183 outputs. In this way, NMEA 0183 data can be distributed to several devices connected to the network. Communication speeds are supported up to 115200 baud.
All NMEA 0183 inputs and outputs and the Ethernet port are galvanically isolated, so there's no risk of ground loops.

EXCHANGE BETWEEN PERIPHERALSInput 1 can be set to SeaTalk mode, enabling it to transmit and receive SeaTalk data. SeaTalk data received is converted to NMEA0183, while NMEA 0183 data from any input or Ethernet port can be selectively routed and converted to the SeaTalk port. The MiniPlex 3PRO also acts as a multiple gateway between NMEA0183 and NMEA2000. Each NMEA0183 input is visible on the NMEA2000 network as an individual data source, one for each physical input, conversion and Ethernet port: 10 in all. Using the routing table, data from all possible NMEA2000 sources can be routed to the Ethernet port and/or the four NMEA0183 outputs. |
