LEGAL MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTY

Although most of the appliances we sell are renowned for their reliability, breakdowns do occur during the warranty period.

Rest assured, at Comptoir Nautique we have set up a simple and efficient warranty management system.

You'll find all the information you need below :

  • Return your products under warranty within the legal duration of the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Product returns outside the legal manufacturer's warranty period.

💪 Warranty conditions:

Our products are covered by a warranty, generally for a minimum of 2 years. This covers all failures occurring under normal use in accordance with the uses and specifications carried in the manufacturers' user manuals.

To benefit from the product warranty, you must keep the purchase invoice for the product concerned. This can be downloaded from the customer area of our website https://en.comptoirnautique.com/mon-compte

The warranty does not cover

  • Accessories, consumables and wearing parts.
  • Any breakdown resulting from improper use (abusive use, shocks, breakage, wear and tear, corrosion, non-compliance with power supply recommendations, poor operating conditions)
  • Damage due to external causes: fire, water damage, power surges, etc
  • Any equipment that has been dismantled, even partially, by non-authorized personnel.
  • Any equipment whose nameplate is missing, damaged or illegible, making it impossible to identify.
  • Rental, demonstration or exhibition equipment.

The warranties for products sold on www.ComptoirNautique.com are those granted by the manufacturers of the products concerned. Comptoir Nautique cannot be committed in any way whatsoever to the warranties assumed by suppliers.

🔙 Return Conditions:

All product returns under warranty must first be agreed with Comptoir Nautique's S.A.V service. The customer will therefore have to declare his breakdown, in detail, by opening a ticket from his Customer Area. Upon acceptance, the customer will receive the return instructions. Please note that no returns will be accepted without prior authorization from Comptoir Nautique.

⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️ : Diagnosis by telephone or e-mail does not entitle the customer to automatic warranty coverage. Following prior agreement with the customer and on receipt of the unit, one of our technicians will carry out a full diagnosis.

The customer is responsible for all transport costs associated with the application of the warranty. The product under warranty will be exchanged or repaired, at the manufacturer's discretion. Once the work has been completed, the equipment will be returned to the customer at our expense in mainland France and Corsica. For all other destinations, return postage will be charged to the customer.

If the allegedly defective device is returned to us and, after testing in our workshops by our technicians, is found to be working perfectly, and it is in fact a problem with the on-board installation, the processing and return postage costs will be billed to you at a flat rate of €79.00 (incl. VAT) . An e-mail will inform you of the procedure to follow to settle these delivery charges.

❌ Out-of-warranty repairs

For all out-of-warranty repairs, the customer must contact our after-sales service department to find out how to arrange shipment.

A lump sum of €49 including VAT will be charged in advance to cover the costs incurred.

This amount will be deducted from the estimate Comptoir Nautique if the repair is accepted. Our intervention is then guaranteed for three months. It only applies if the same fault is found.
