STANDARD HORIZON - VHF HX40E - ULTRA COMPACT

Standard Horizon's HX40E is an ultra-high-performance portable and floating VHF. It features a large screen with a bright, backlit Dot Matrix display. You can accessall functions quickly and easily via the "E2O" (Easy to Operate) menu.

The jack socket accepts various accessories such as the hands-free kit and submersible speaker/microphone (optional). Note that when the jack is used, the internal speaker and microphone are deactivated.

VHF HX40E

The VHF HX40E is reliable, complete and powerful. Its transmit power can be switched between 1W and 6W, and the HX40E features a timer that limits transmission time, preventing inadvertent transmissions.

What's more, the HX40E VHF incorporates the ATIS function (a system for identifying boats used on inland waterways in many parts of continental Europe), which can be programmed, activated or deactivated via the menu.

Impossible to lose this device, red LEDs along the lower part of the front panel activate automatically on contact with water (even when switched off).
