Hello. I currently have a Lowrance HDS Live 9 and a B160 probe. I would like to upgrade my equipment considerably. Could this probe work with my Lowrance handset?

Hello Hervé,
The built-in sounder on the Lowrance HDS 9 Live will not handle a 2KW CHIRP Dual Channel R111 probe.
Several solutions:
- Install a Chirp S5100 sounder module between your HDS9 Live and the R111 probe.
- Install a new Gps Sounder that directly integrates a 2KW sounder like theAPEX.
