GEN2 PADDLEWHEEL: ACCURATE EVEN AT LOW SPEEDS

The ST900-P features the new-generation Gen2 propeller wheel Airmar, designed to improve speed detection from the very first movements of the boat. It begins measuring speed at 0.3 knots and provides a linear response starting at 0.6 knots.

Measurements remain stable and accurate up to 45 knots, on both sailboats and motorboats. The sensor also measures water temperature with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C.

A DISCREET HULL--

The ST900-P is installed through the hull using its low-profile plastic hull--. This-protrudes only 5 mm below the hull, minimizing drag while underway.

-Its retractable insert makes it easy to clean and replace the paddle wheel. When the sensor is removed, a self-closing valve reduces water ingress. A sealing plug can then be used to reseal the hull- e pass watertight.

The ST900-P can also replace an older sensor installed in a compatible Airmar P120 or B120--hull passage, without necessarily requiring new drilling.
