The traditional sounder function uses CHIRP high-frequency coverage, enabling optimum detection down to a depth of 100m without any problems.

With CHIRP technology, you benefit from:

• Denser information and a sharper, high-resolution image
• Better target separation and sharper rendering of fish arches
• Improved bottom tracking and fish detection even at high speed

The SH-A140T probe uses the 2D frequencies CHIRP:

• 180-240 kHz narrow beam
• 140-200 kHz wide beam
• 150-220 kHz in beam combination

MEGA DOWN IMAGING+ TECHNOLOGY

The new MEGA Imaging+ function takes Down Imaging performance to a new level, doubling the depth of use of Mega Down Imaging.

Now you can explore depths at very high frequencies that were previously inaccessible... while maintaining breathtaking image quality.

• Mega frequencies Down Imaging: 455 kHz (440-500 kHz) to a maximum depth of 122m
• Mega frequency Down Imaging+: 1075-1150 kHz up to a maximum depth of 61 m

MEGA SIDE IMAGING+ TECHNOLOGY

Now you can survey up to 60m on either side of the boat, i.e. 120m of Mega Imaging scanning!

Thanks to its new signal processing, Mega imaging+ lets you use the zoom mode in MSI+ view without any loss of detail. You can zoom in up to six times, while maintaining impressive image quality.

Rather than simply zooming in on the image, which distorts the pixels, the device recalculates the selected area.

• Mega frequencies Side Imaging+: 455 kHz (440-500 kHz) with a maximum side scan of 244m on each side of the boat
• Mega frequency Side Imaging+: 1075-1150 kHz with a maximum lateral sweep of 122m on each side of the boat
