FAST TARGET TRACKING

This command (TT) automatically acquires and tracks up to 10 targets. Heading and speed vectors are displayed in a matter of seconds:important information for avoiding collision courses.

GAIN/SEA/RAINSETTING MODE

The 1815's automatic gain reduction uses algorithms that have been perfected over many decades of experience and innovation at Furuno.

In the absence of any user intervention, this radar will automatically eliminate unnecessary echoes and present a clear display image with each scan of its antenna.

You can see other ships, buoys and objects on the sea surface in good weather, or when fog and sudden storms make visibility difficult.

TRUE TRAIL FUNCTION

When True Trail mode is used, moving targets appear, leaving a blue trail on the display screen. These traces help to visualize the trajectory of vessels.

Connected to an optional AIS (in NMEA), the radar acts as a repeater for all AIS information. Up to 100 AIS targets can be tracked and displayed on the screen.

COLOR SETTINGS

For better readability,colors can be adjusted according to the screen installation. Color adjustment ensures the best readability depending on ambient lighting.

The M1815 is waterproof and can just as easily be found at the chart table of a sailboat as on a fly or open outside.
