The high-emission (5W) Em-Trak B954 AIS transponder offers the following features improved AIS and GPS performance , guaranteeing that every transmission is translated in real time and without error so that you can have more AIS information and targets at maximum distance , all with minimal power consumption. This version features WiFi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity Efficient and fast AIS data transmission, compatible with any mobile device or PC, as well as uSB, NMEA0183 and NMEA200 connectivity.
Thanks to its flexible connectivity , it can be used by nine different devices simultaneously , this allows everyone on board to get the most out of the transceiver and related on-board equipment, every day. The B954 AIS transponder also works with Em-Trak's Connect-Ais application, making device programming, configuration and monitoring easier than ever.
This AIS B954 Class B Em-Trak transponder features a integrated VHF antenna splitter which allows the transceiver to share your existing VHF antenna without loss of performance. As a reminder, a Class B AIS transponder is a device used on ships to transmit and receive information on position, heading, speed, characteristics, position via GPS connection, vessel identity via MMSI number and name . The Class B AIS transponder is a smaller, less expensive version of the Class A AIS transponders used on large commercial vessels.
