Adaptable to virtually all opening portholes on the market, the blackout & flyscreen curtain from Waterline Design will considerably improve your comfort on board your boat (or in a van fitted with a porthole). This equipment serves three purposes: it darkens the cabin for a good night's sleep, ventilates the interior to keep cool, and keeps out mosquitoes and other insects.
It installs quickly and easily on different sizes and shapes of porthole (rectangular, oval and elliptical), whether open or closed. After use, it can be easily folded up and stored in a storage bag (included)
Darkening, refreshing and insect-freeBecause sleeping at sea is important, and you don't necessarily want to wake up when the sun rises, the blackout curtain from Waterline Design provides maximum darkness in the cabin for a restful night's sleep. You can also have an open hatch, a dark cabin interior and still have some ventilation in the cabin. Waterline Desin has designed this blind with a double layer of overlapping PVC to create a space where air won't circulate completely, but will allow ventilation . This not only cools the interior , but also helps reduce condensation . If you need more air, you can put something (like a sponge) between the layers to force it open. Finally, for optimum comfort , the design of this Waterline Design curtain incorporates a layer of close-mesh mosquito netting to prevent mosquitoes, gnats and other insects from entering the cabin. |

Quick and easy to installAdaptable to all porthole sizes and shapes on the market, Waterline Design 's blackout & flyscreen curtain for opening portholes comes with two attachment systems : suction cups and magnets. This means you can mount your curtain on your deck porthole quickly and easily, whether it's open or closed, rectangular, oval or elliptical . The advantage of this installation is that it's not permanent , so you can quickly remove it and store the curtain, which folds down to 1/3 of its size , in its small storage bag (included). |
