This HAMMAR H20 E hydrostatic replacement kit for MT4xx/6xx enables the EPIRB distress beacon to activate automatically on contact with water.

As soon as it reaches a depth of between 2 and 6 meters, the hydrostatic hook is activated and the EPIRB releases from its housing, automatically starting to send the emergency message.

This hydrostatic release unit must be replaced 2 years after installation.
