Rudder angle sensor for smooth, precise steering
The RF40 is a rudder angle sensor for use with NAC-1 and NAC-2 autopilot systems. Rudder angle sensors measure the position of the rudder and transmit it to your autopilot. This ensures rigorous rudder control for smooth, precise steering.
Direct connection for simple Plug & Play installation
The RF40 is designed to connect directly to NAC-1 and NAC-2 autopilots, with a variable voltage output and a 15-meter (49-foot) connected cable and Plug & Play connector. The connector can be easily removed for use in other applications. Thanks to its extended cable and direct connection, the RF40 is an ideal alternative to connected NMEA 2000® sensors, such as the RF25, in situations where it is impossible or unnecessary to extend a vessel's NMEA 2000 network within helm range.
- Rudder angle measurement to ± 120 degrees
- Plug & Play connection to NAC-1 and NAC-2 autopilots
- 15-meter (49-foot) connected cable
