ForwardScan sleeve and cap

ForwardScan is suitable for almost all types of boats and hulls fitted with a stainless steel through-hull support sleeve. The sleeve and optional fairing block can accommodate hulls up to 29 mm (1.15 in.) thick for a 12-degree angle of inclination, or up to 19 mm (3/4 in.) thick for 20 degrees. An integrated self-closing valve allows the ForwardScan probe to be inserted and removed from the sleeve during navigation, simplifying probe installation and maintenance. By pre-installing the ForwardScan sleeve and inserting the included watertight blanking plug, boat builders can prepare a new ForwardScan-compatible vessel. The probe can then be added at a later date, thanks to a do-it-yourself upgrade at sea.
