One screen for two engines
The IS42J indicator provides a customized view of the status and performance of one or two J1939 diesel engines. View engine speed, load, pressures, temperatures, alerts (including diagnostic fault codes) and other important data on a single, clear graphic display. Designed to remain operational in all conditions, the IS42's color display uses optical bonding between the screen and its protective glass plate. This eliminates the risk of condensation or fogging inside the display. Simple, waterproof controls make the IS42 easy to use in complicated conditions, and responsive even when your hands are wet or you're wearing gloves.

Integrated gateway between J1939 engines and the NMEA 2000® network
More than just a stand-alone indicator, the IS42J also links your J1939 diesel engines to your boat's NMEA 2000® network. This means you can view engine data on many other indicators and multifunction displays Simrad boat-wide, without the need for a separate J1939 converter or gateway.

Easy installation
The IS42J indicator is easy to install: it consists of one cable for each of your engines and a single connection to your boat's power source. With an integrated J1939 gateway for two engines, there's no need to install separate "black box" components. Plug & Play adapter cables are also available for a wide range of J1939 diesel engines. Sharing engine data with other gauges or displays Simrad is also easy, thanks to industry-standard NMEA 2000® connectivity.
