EngineBox is a NMEA 2000® gateway for integrating legacy engines into a NMEA 2000® network.
EngineBox is capable of converting various signals into NMEA 2000 frames so that all data is shared with all devices (gauges, display, etc.) on the NMEA 2000 network.
Converted signals include: analog engine speed, analog 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-400 Ω and SAE J1939 signals.
The single-motor version can handle: one motor with frequency output, one motor with SAE J1939 output and eight analog inputs.
The dual-motor version can handle: two motors with frequency output, two motors with SAE J1939 output and 14 analog inputs.
Designed to international standards, it is suitable for machine room installation. It manages various sensors, both VDO and third-party, which can be set and calibrated via the VDO Marine configuration tool (supplied free of charge).
