These mechanical and electromagnetic clutches are designed to drive two shafts rotating in the same direction. These clutches can be driven by a pulley or by a frontal coupling (flange) for applications involving hydraulic or thermal motors.
The nominal torque values of electromagnetic clutches are valid only after a period of
running-in of the unit. To accelerate this running-in process, we recommend engaging the clutch 10-20 times at high speed
with the vacuum pump. If the nominal torque is exceeded, the contact faces will slip. This condition is
permissible for up to 5 seconds. On installation, check that the pulley is perfectly clean, and remove all traces of oil or grease. Operating temperature : -25°C to + 45°C. Maximum power consumption: 50W at 12V and 60W at 24V. Max. speed: 5000 rpm. Pulleys: 2 SPA-type grooves.
