DownScan Imaging™
High-frequency 455/800 kHz DownScan imaging provides a realistic representation of the water column, bottom and any structure beneath your boat: visualize fish, rocks, seaweed and wrecks clearly depicted on your multifunction display. DownScan is a powerful tool for locating areas with a high concentration of fish, finding wrecks or reefs for diving, or for research and analysis.

Depth/temperature
A single sensor is all you need. Able to measure both depth and temperature, the Skimmer HDI 455/800 simplifies installation and requires a single connection to your echo sounder module or multifunction display.

Mounting
The Skimmer HDI 455/800 is suitable for transom or front electric motor mounting on any type of hull. Transom-mounted probes are designed for outboards and smaller inboard/outboard boats. They are ideally suited to planing hulls. Transom mounting simplifies installation and maintenance, and the probe can be easily adjusted to compensate for the angle of the transom. Front electric motor mounting is quick and easy, offering superior performance to in-hull (bottom-mounted) installations without the need to drill holes in the hull or transom.
