Designed for outboard-single-engine boats under 30 feet, the Garmin Reactor 40 Compact is the ideal entry-level autopilot. It features all the functions required for motor navigation: course keeping, gybing/ tacking and much more. No matter what the sea state, this pilot stays on course with razor-sharp precision! The autopilot Reactor 40 keeps you on the course you set.

Connect your chartplotter to autopilot via NMEA2000 for total control. With BlueChart g3 maps on your Garmin chartplotter, you'll benefit from the autoguiding system: automatic tracking of the route created by your GPS. If you don't have a GPS Garmin, you can still connect it via the NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 bus, using the optional 010-11129-00 cable.


	GHC 50 pilot controller Ideal for controlling your boat with confidence, the autopilot GHC 50 Garmin console will assist you at the helm wherever you go. It features a bright 5" edge-to-edge touchscreen for an elegant design. You can also share your settings with your Garmin multifunction displays. Your autopilot can be connected via the Garmin Marine Network 'GMN' or via wireless connectivity.

THE CCU: THE BRAIN OF THE REACTOR 40 The Course Computer Unit (CCU) is used to determine course and engine speed. With its advanced 9-axis semi-conductor attitude and heading reference system (AHRS), it offers virtually unlimited mounting possibilities, whatever the orientation. At the same time, this new system considerably reduces heading errors, course deviations, helm movements and power consumption, while providing optimum on-board navigation comfort.

	ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT The robust electronic control unit provides reliable and stable power to autopilot. No autopilot spares you the trouble of commissioning and calibration. Aware that electronic equipment shouldn't get in the way of taking to the sea, Garmin has reduced and simplified this step as much as possible. That's the power of simplicity.

HYDRAULIC PUMP Use the 1L pump with your Reactor 40 autopilot system. This pump steers the boat in interaction with the hydraulic steering system, according to setpoints activated from the pilot controller. This pump is compatible with steering cylinders

	REACTOR 40 WIRING KIT Connected to an NMEA0183 or NMEA2000-compatible chart plotter, the autopilot Reactor will follow the programmed route or set course perfectly. In addition, with a compatible Garmin chartplotter and G2 Vision, G3 and G3 Vision charts, you can benefit from optional features such as auto guidance, which automatically calculates the best route to take to reach your destination.
